Santa Clarita’s rich Western heritage rides into the spotlight each year at the Cowboy Festival, a free, multi-day celebration that draws more than 10,000 visitors from near and far. Set against the iconic backdrop of William S. Hart Park, home to the legendary William S. Hart Museum, this one-of-a-kind festival pays tribute to the true spirit of the Old West and Santa Clarita’s deep roots in Western history from art, music, and poetry to film and television.
Guests of all ages are transported to the American Frontier as live performers fill the air with Western Swing, Bluegrass and Americana tunes along with Cowboy Poetry and Storytelling.
The aroma of slow-smoked BBQ drifts through the park, and vendors offer handcrafted gear and goods worthy of any modern-day wrangler. With storytelling, entertainment, and Western traditions around every corner, the Cowboy Festival celebrates the past with the grit, heart, and flair of today’s West.
