Take a tour of William S. Hart’s Museum, the former home of the famed silent film actor and director who produced a series of hit Western movies in the early 1900’s. A member of the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, the museum exhibits an impressive collection of Western artwork as well as mementos from early Hollywood, personal furnishings, and artifacts representing multiple Native American cultures.
Pro tip: On your way up to the property, be sure to look beyond the fence line on the right. In 1962, Walt Disney donated eight buffalo to the park and the descendants of those mighty animals still roam the 265-acre park today. In addition to the bison, there is also an animal barnyard near the parking lot that the kids will love!
